How do I change or update my IP address?

IP Authentication will no longer be supported and is not the preferred authentication method. See the API Authentication guide for our shared secret-based method. Please contact your EAN representative or support@ean.com with any further questions.

IP authentication is offered for existing partners only. New partners must integrate using signature authentication.

To change any outdated IPs or add new ones:

Log in to your EAN Affiliate Center account and navigate to your Key Details under the top API menu. This option is only available to affiliates with previously-established keys set for IP authentication.

To modify your requesting IPs, follow these guidelines:

  • If entering more than one address, use a comma separated list.
  • You can add a range on the last octet of the IP only - e.g 123.45.67.1-254
  • A maximum of 254 characters including all dots, dashes and comma delimiters is allowed.
  • No spaces allowed. Leading or trailing spaces will interrupt accurate reading of your IPs and cause authentication failures
